EnergyWise MV offers design, design/build and contracting services. Kate Warner and Gino Mazzaferro have worked on a number of houses together since 1987.  The projects here under "Design" were all designed by Kate Warner.

Kate S. Warner, Architect was founded in 1992, in the center of West Tisbury, and specializes in traditional houses with an emphasis on energy efficient design. The office offers clients alternatives that allow them to build traditional houses while living lightly on the Earth. Energy efficiency measures provide comfort and cost savings. Reducing fossil fuel use by generating power from renewable sources and making hot water with help from the sun can further reduce the project's environmental impact.

Gino Mazzaferro provides expertise in implementation of energy efficient building practices and strategies. His years of experience in construction and local building on the Vineyard gives him knowledge as to how to improve envelope details in a cost-effective manner. Proper sequencing, utilization of tradesmen proficient in air-tight building techniques and high quality craftsmanship create the opportunity to achieve superior results.
